Wasatch Electric provided electrical and power distribution solutions for Flagstaff Lodge, a 138,000-square-foot residential complex located in the Rocky Mountains. The project overcame all of the challenges inherent with a demanding mountain location and climate.
Due to extremely limited staging and lay-down areas, the project required close coordination between trades and suppliers. Our warehouse space, extensive prefabrication capabilities, and strong vendor relationships were essential to keeping work moving smoothly.
We also played a leading role in the design and installation of a state-of-the-art snowmelt system, which was a critical complement of the project and key requirement of the client.
Even in the face of these difficult site conditions and a winter with record-breaking snowfall, we were able to successfully complete the project on time and within budget.
The client required an electrical contractor capable of working in challenging mountain conditions, who could deliver a project featuring the finest residential amenities. Additionally, they wanted to achieve the highest levels of quality and use as many natural construction materials as possible, while maintaining functionality and sustainability.
Wasatch Electric’s scope of work included:
- All power requirements
- Emergency generator
- Custom interior and exterior lighting with varied dimming requirements
- Security and access control
- Underfloor heating and an extensive, cutting-edge Bylin snow-melt system
- Audio/visual raceways and cabling
- Pump-room power and control wiring
