Josh uses the knowledge gained through his degree, along with his many years of industry experience, to provide clients with the highest quality projects delivered on time and within budget. As the Manager of the commercial division, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical installations on multimillion-dollar projects.

Josh is also responsible for assuring that his field leadership and electricians have the required training to complete their tasks as safely and efficiently as possible. This includes overseeing their training, checking on project quality control, and interfacing with clients as necessary to provide the best value to our customers.


Josh joined Wasatch Electric in 1991. He has worked as an Estimator, Contract Administrator, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager prior to being promoted to his current position in 2015.

Josh graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Utah in 1997. He is trained in electrical safety and reliability, lightning protection systems, 15kV splicing/termination/cable installation, Primavera P6, and various management and leadership skills. He keeps up on the latest modifications in the ever-changing electrical industry through continuing education.

As a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association, he serves on the Intermountain Chapter LMCC (Labor Management Cooperation Committee).

Personal Side

Josh is married and is the father of four children. He enjoys his work, but in addition he enjoys time with his family, sports, and the outdoors.
