An outgoing personality, he relates well to others and is good at building personal relationships with clients and organizations. In addition, as preconstruction manager, he performs project due diligence, including pre-qualification, and preparation and presentation of company resource materials. Jeff is also responsible for building Wasatch Electric’s client base among both local and national general contractors, construction management companies, owners, architects, and electrical engineers.
Whether it’s a new or an existing client, however, Jeff ensures that Wasatch Electric’s complete capabilities are available to provide them with the value-added solutions they need. And always, he is dedicated to ensuring that every client has the kind of successful project experience that helps build long-term relationships.
Expertise
Jeff has been in the industry for more than 40 years. In 1968, while still a business administration student at the University of Utah, he joined Wasatch in the line department. Shortly after that, he moved into the office and worked his way up through a series of increasingly responsible positions, including assistant project manager, project manager, and service department manager. He then moved into his current position. He has successfully negotiated projects for more than 20 years.
In addition to business administration courses at the University of Utah and advanced business classes at New York University, Jeff has attended numerous seminars and training sessions on leadership skills, design/build project requirements, and value-added subcontracting. Most recently, he attended the Gettysburg Foundation’s seminar, "Leadership Training for the Twenty-First Century".
The Personal Side
Jeff and his wife have three sons and five grandchildren. He enjoys sports, gardening, and traveling, especially to Europe. He also likes to attend his grandchildren’s sports, music, and dance events.
